I am a self trained artist living in Hastings, East Sussex. My art work
starts from the photographs I take. Originally these photos were without the
purpose of creating paintings - but to record striking scenery. I started doing
pastel pictures from these photographs and have now moved on to acrylic paints.
Whilst I have been doing this for several years I'm not prolific, however I
intend to increase my output and quality. I am still learning - both about
painting and obtaining the photo's my work derives from.
I've created this site to display my work, to show comparisons between the
photo's and finished paintings and, hopefully, interest people enough to
buy.
